Dr Roberta Foresti
Dr. Foresti (PhD) is currently a Senior Research Scientist at Northwick Park Institute for Medical Research and Honorary Lecturer at University College London. She obtained her degree at the University of Milan and completed her doctoral thesis at the University of California San Diego.
She has recently completed a Masters Degree in Human Nutrition at King’s College London. Dr. Foresti has published over 50 research papers and has a special interest in human nutrition and nutrigenomics. She is working with our team to examine how different foods may interact with specific genes to increase the risk of common chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, obesity, heart disease, stroke and certain cancers. GeneticHealth Ltd’s nutrigenomics research program seeks to validate the theory that common chemicals in diet can affect health by altering the expression of genes.
