The Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) major is a two-year, full-time course of study with part-time options. The program is designed to prepare advanced practice nurses to care for children in primary care settings. The curriculum features theoretically based and clinically focused courses and includes a minimum of 500 contact hours for clinical practice and selected laboratory experiences. Students who desire full time study should matriculate fall of even numbered years.
