Much racism charges these days are the exploitation of the paranoia of blacks. I work at a hotel… there is a indoctrinated attitude they accept, and will turn anything that works against them into racism. Take away their color of their skin? They would have had to stop acting like jerks a long time ago. White people are jerks and have it rough in life until they learn not to be. With blacks? Some are trained to knee jerk into bad things are happening to them because of the color of their skin. They are exploited by greedy people in the legal system. I once heard a black comedian tell the blacks in his audience… “maybe it happened because you were being a jerk?” Too many blacks have bee inculcated with the notion that induces feelings of too much self importance. Its a part of the divide and conquer system that has been fostered upon our culture. People are going to like you. And, some people are not. White, or black. Makes no difference.
Unlike the lawsuit against Fox News, the one against CNN and sister companies is much broader, claiming among other things that African-Americans receive lower performance ratings in evaluations, that there are dramatic differences in pay between similarly situated employees of different races and that the promotion of African-American employees is blocked by a "glass ceiling." The complaint ( see here ) cites hiring and advancement statistics while alleging that African-American employees have endured slurs from superiors, including "It's hard to manage black people" and "Who would be worth more: black slaves from times past, or new slaves?"
